Back Kim is the Chief Medical Officer of Heart Vein NYC (HVNYC) and opened its doors in 2010. Including his time spent with HVNYC, Dr. Kim is the Director of Cardiovascular Patient Outreach and Research program at Lenox Hill Hospital and the Clinical Instructor in Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. His medical training can be credited to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Brown University, Case Western Reserve University Hospital, John Hopkins University, and the Seoul National University, School of Medicine. Dr. Kim has his board certification in Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiovascular Disease as well as diplomate of Internal Medicine and Cardiology. Dr. Kim is fluent in Korean, English and Spanish.
Dr. Kim’s mission here at HVNYC is to provide quality patient treatment and continuity of care, collectively, with his team of physicians, mid levels, and clinical staff. With locations serving various boroughs, his ultimate goal is to make pertinent health care accessible to patients throughout the greater New York City area.
